A retired Class IV employee of the Education Department was killed after his scooter collided with a Haryana Roadways bus near a canal on the Bhiwani-Bahal main road in Devrala village. The accident took place at around 2:30 pm.

The deceased, identified as Bhana Ram, a resident of Noonsar, had reached a petrol pump in Devrala on his scooter to meet his nephew Dalbir, who works there as a salesman.

After meeting his nephew, Bhana Ram was riding towards Obra when his scooter collided from the side with a Haryana Roadways bus coming from the opposite direction. He suffered fatal injuries and died at the spot.

Following the accident, the police were informed through Dial 112. Police reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it to the District Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Based on a complaint filed by the deceased's nephew Dalbir, police have registered an FIR against the bus driver and initiated an investigation.
