SGPC member Manjeet Singh has distanced himself from Akali Dal. He has resigned from the membership of the party. Whereas he said that he will remain a member of SGPC. On the other hand, he has also said to support Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh. It should also be remembered that senior Akali Dal leader Virsa Singh Valtoha is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Shri Khadur Sahib against Amritpal Singh. In such a situation, his resignation from Akali Dal and support to Amritpal Singh raises big questions.
