2 villages have BC Chaupals – Devender Babli

Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Devender Singh Babli said that out of 100 villages in the Ateli assembly constituency, 80 villages have Chaupals for people belonging to the scheduled castes while 32 villages have backward classes chaupals.
Babli was responding to a question during the budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He stated that demand for the construction of Chaupals for scheduled castes has been received via the ‘Gram Darshan Portal’ in one village and via ‘Jansamvad’ in four villages out of the remaining 18 villages. There has been no demand received for the construction of Chaupals for backward classes. These proposals are under consideration by the government.
