The Aam Aadmi Party is beginning a statewide door-to-door campaign in Punjab from September 20. According to the party, 2,68,553 booth committee members will visit homes across the state to inform people about the work and achievements of the Bhagwant Mann-led government over the past four and a half years. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself will participate in the campaign from Dhuri.

AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia said Punjab has a total of 25,332 polling booths and the campaign will be carried out through booth committees across the state. Party workers will visit households to share information about the government’s schemes and initiatives. Alongside the door-to-door campaign, the Aam Aadmi Party has also announced a large-scale membership drive across Punjab.

Speaking about the government’s work, Sisodia said farmers have benefited from canal water and daytime electricity supply. He also claimed that students in government schools are receiving better facilities and improved opportunities for their future. He further highlighted steps taken by the government in matters related to private school fees.

Party workers will also interact with people on issues concerning youth, business owners and women. According to Sisodia, the campaign will highlight employment and sports facilities for young people, while the government’s policies for the business community will also be discussed with residents.

On the government’s guarantees related to electricity and water, Sisodia claimed that the government has fulfilled its promises and that, as a result, an average family in Punjab has benefited by ₹1.82 lakh annually. This figure is a claim made by the Aam Aadmi Party.

During the campaign, the party will also raise issues comparing the records of previous governments with the work of the present government. Sisodia accused previous governments of pushing Punjab towards a financial crisis and allowing the drug problem to grow.

Aam Aadmi Party state president Aman Arora said party workers will now take information about the government’s work directly to households. The campaign is being conducted ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections and is aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots organisation and public outreach. The party said its workers will communicate the government’s work and achievements directly to people across the state.
