“Adani Agri Fresh Limited (AAFL) is committed to supporting the apple farmers of Himachal Pradesh.'' Spokesperson of AAFL said that As soon as the matter came to our notice, we formed several teams—comprising our horticulturists, weather experts, and members of village help groups—to investigate and provide the necessary solutions. Since yesterday, these teams have visited many apple orchards across the state, assisting farmers with medicinal sprays, fertilizers, and other remedies to control the fungal infection. Additionally, a separate team is working to identify the causes of this disease to prevent its spread to other areas.
We urge farmers to connect with our experts as soon as they notice symptoms of Alternaria in their orchards. We will continue to collaborate with the orchardists and are optimistic that this outbreak will be contained very soon.”
