CM administers oath to 1145 new lawyers of Bar Council, gives them licences

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said advocacy is not just a profession but a public service. Lawyers can bring positive change in society by contributing to the judicial system of the country and the field of advocacy is not limited to the knowledge of law, rather lawyers play their role in providing justice to the weaker and deprived sections of society.
Saini said this during the oath-taking ceremony of new lawyers organized by the Punjab and Haryana Bar Council at Law Bhawan in Chandigarh today. During this, the Chief Minister administered oath to 1145 new lawyers and gave them licences.
Saini said it is the result of the nationalist vision of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi that independent India has got freedom from three laws of slavery after 7 decades. He requested all the new lawyers to contribute in making the general public aware about the new laws.
