Three held with .30 Bore Pistol, Robbed money

Amritsar police claim traces ICICI bank robbery case in Tarantaran within hours. Police arrested three accused and recover 7,70,000 rupees, one .30 bore pistol with five rounds and dummy pistol. Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar address media and give detail regarding ICICI bank robbery case.

He said that in this robbery police arrested three boys identified as resident of Amritsar's Sultanwind Suraj (22), Inderjit Singh (19) and Prince (32). The above fir was registered on statement of Malik Singh, Relationship Manager, ICICI Bank, branch Tarn Taran Road Amritsar that on the afternoon of 06-04-2024, 03 boys entered the bank, one of whom was carrying a pistol and they threatened the cashier to handover all cash to them and fled with cash. amounting12,78,122/- rupees . The above mentioned Fir was registered in Police Station B-Division, Amritsar.
Immediately, taking cognisance of the serious nature of crime,all senior officers,including Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, Bhullar, rushed to the scene of crime,and various teams were formed under supervision of  Harpreet Singh Mander, DCP Investigation, Amritsar and  Navjot Singh, ADCP City- 1, and Gurinderbir Singh Sidhu ACP East, Amritsar, and different tasks and instructions were assigned to SHO Police Station B-Division and different teams of all 3 CIA staffs of Commissionerate Amritsar.
Following various human int and technical leads,and working tirelessly throughout the night,all 03 accused have been arrested and recovered 7,70,000/- rupees, 01 pistol .30 bore including 05 rounds and 01 dummy pistol.

The arrested accused will be produced in the Honourable Court and remanded and interrogated thoroughly.
