AMRITSAR: Appointment letters were given to 31 newly appointed preachers today by Dharm Pracharak Committee of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

It is to be mentioned that the president of the Shiromani Committee, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, recently appointed students who had received education from missionary colleges as volunteers with the aim of reaching the door-to-door dharma prachar movement. These students have played an important role for the propagation of religion while visiting different villages of the border area.

Appointing these students as preachers today, the Shiromani Committee President appointed General Secretary Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta, member Bhai Ajaim Singh Prakash, Secretary S. Pratap Singh, OSD Satbir Singh Dhami and Secretary of Dharma Prachar Committee.

Appointment letters were handed over by Balwinder Singh KahlwanOn this occasion, General Secretary of Shiromani Committee Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta said that while working as volunteers in the past, these preachers have performed a better responsibility by fighting the challenges faced by Sikhism along with religion.
He expressed hope that this newly appointed Pracharak will diligently perform the duties assigned by the Dharma Pracharak Committee as before.
