Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Devender Singh Babli, stated that Haryana athletes have excelled at both the national and international levels and remarked that the Haryana government fully supports the athletes and has launched several initiatives to encourage them.
The Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister participated as the Chief Guest at the Kabaddi competition in village Dher of Tohana city, Fatehabad district, encouraging the players on Thursday. He stated that such events should be held on a regular basis to keep the players motivated and to bring hidden talents of the villagers at the forefront.
Sh. Babli proudly mentioned that Haryana athletes have excelled both at the national and international level. The present government always supports the players and has also initiated many schemes to promote sports and to encourage the players. He stated that the Haryana government is providing cash prizes and reservations in government jobs to the state's medal-winning athletes. The minister stated that the present government ensures a sports-friendly environment to encourage athletes. Sh. Babli, after the programme congratulated the players.
