CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Thursday said that before one nation, one election the Union government must ensure one nation, one education and one healthcare.
Interacting with the media persons here outside the Parliament House, the Chief Minister said that it is strange that instead of implementing in one nation, one education and one treatment in the country the Modi government is keen for implementing one nation, one elections. He said that this is an arbitrary move as while the former will benefit the masses in entire country the latter will only fulfill the political motives of the saffron party. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is unfortunate that the rather than public welfare the Modi government is keen on ensuring its well being only adding that this is dictatorial attitude which is not in interest of regional parties and states.
Replying to a query, the Chief Minister said that that now Punjab has the best law and order situation in the country due to strenuous efforts of the state government.
