During the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a program was organized on Sunday at Seva Samiti Chowk in Ambala district, where ration cards of many people and elderly were generated on the spot. Beneficiaries who received their cards, specially reached the stage and expressed gratitude to the Home and Health Minister Anil Vij.
Speaking on the occasion,Vij said that those who have been deprived of government schemes are now easily getting Ayushman cards, ration cards on the spot, while pensions, loans, and other benefits are also being provided on the spot. During the program, yellow ration cards of two elderly individuals were made after many years. Meanwhile, Sh. Anil Vij distributed Ayushman cards to 30 people during the program.
The Home Minister said that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is benefiting people as the central and state governments have implemented many such schemes after coming to power, and people are receiving the benefits smoothly. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being carried out for the upliftment of the people, and through the Ayushman Bharat scheme, 30 crore people in the country and 30 lakh people in the Haryana state have received health guarantees under the Ayushman Bharat/Chirayu scheme, he said.

Over 150 Dharamshalas built in the Cantonment
Vij said that development work has been carried out in the Cantonment, and more than 150 Dharamshalas have been built, equipped with all facilities. He said that the development is continuously taking place in Ambala Cantonment. The best civil hospital in North India has been built here. This hospital includes modern medical facilities, some of which are better than PGIs. MRI, ultrasound, plastic surgery, heart treatment, and other facilities are available. Through the Atal Cancer Care Center, people from states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and other regions are benefiting. Earlier, people used to go to Chandigarh or other places for treatment, but now people are coming to Ambala Cantonment for treatment, said the Home Minister.
