The Aam Aadmi Party Punjab reacted sharply to the arrest of AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by CBI on Tuesday night. The party accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of misusing investigation agencies and said that this is an undemocratic and unconstitutional step of the BJP government.
On Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party Punjab's chief spokesperson and MP Malvinder Singh Kang reacted to this matter and said that BJP is working against the Aam Aadmi Party, it is their political vendetta. BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi want to finish the Aam Aadmi Party at any cost. That is why the Modi government is misusing the country's investigation agencies against Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leaders.
Kang said that the way ED hastily approached the High Court without getting the copy of the judgment after Arvind Kejriwal got bail from the lower court, it clearly shows that all this is happening at the behest of Prime Minister Modi and BJP.
He said that BJP has relations with the main accused in this case Raghav Reddy and Sharadchandra Reddy. It has given election funds of Rs 60 crore to BJP through electoral bonds. He said that Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on the basis of the statement of the person who gave funds to the BJP. At the same time, they have also given Lok Sabha ticket to Raghav Reddy's father. This clearly shows their intentions.
He said that whatever the BJP does, we have full faith that we will definitely get justice from the court. Soon Arvind Kejriwal will be proved innocent in this case and he will get bail and the conspiracy of BJP will be exposed.
