CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday held Sarkaar Tuhaade Dwaar program at his official residence in the city and resolved the grievances of people.
The Chief Minister during interaction with people said that this first of its kind initiative is aimed at facilitating the people. He said that now the governments are not run from Chandigarh but it is being managed from the cities and towns across the state.
Meanwhile, a woman who had came all the way from Ludhiana praised the CM for this unique initiative. Sukhwinder Kaur said that this is a laudable step aimed at mitigating woes of common man. She said that the CM has given necessary directions to officers for getting her work done at the earliest.
Jagdish Singh said that his father was a cop who had suffered disability due to mishap during service. He said that his father was forcibly retired.He said that the Chief Minister has sympathetically heard him and assured to solve his case on priority. Ashwani Kumar from Gurdaspur and Vijay Kumar from Jalandhar also lauded the Chief Minister for taking this historic step to benefit the common man by solving their problems.
