Due to alertness of Punjab Police today, conspiracy to attack Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Sukhbir Badal, who was declared a 'Tankhaiya' from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, was serving in Sri Harmandir Sahib, due to which Punjab Police had already made tight security arrangements.Due to this, the attacker who attacked Sukhbir Badal this morning was arrested on the spot and the conspiracy to worsen the situation in Punjab was foiled, the credit for which goes to the Punjab Police.
