Transfer orders of DC Paramveer Singh will be issued later

Amidst the hustle and bustle of by-elections on four assembly constituencies in Punjab, the government has changed the Deputy Commissioner and SSP of Tarn Taran. These orders have been issued with immediate effect.In an order issued by KAP Sinha, Principal Secretary, Personnel Department, 2017 batch IAS officer Rahul has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran.He will replace the Deputy Commissioner Paramveer Singh. In this order, 2015 batch IAS officer Paramveer Singh has been asked to report to the Secretary. His transfer orders will be issued later.
At the same time, according to the orders issued by the Home Department of Punjab, SSP Tarn Taran Gaurav Toora has been sent to the vacant post of AIG Personal-1, Chandigarh. Whereas in his place Abhimanyu Rana has been made the new SSP of Tarn Taran. Earlier, Abhimanyu Rana was posted as DCP City in Amritsar. These orders have been issued with immediate effect.
