Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has once again grabbed headlines with his candid remarks on public controversies and an important update on his much-awaited film Punjab '95.

During a recent Instagram Live session, Diljit appealed to fans to keep him away from political controversies and protests, saying he is "an artist, not a politician." His comments came after he was asked about the ongoing protest by the "Cockroach Janta Party" at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Responding to the question, Diljit said he had no knowledge of the protest and declined to comment on it. "Bro, keep me away from protests. I am an artist, not a politician. Everything in life can never be perfect.

The whole world has its share of sorrow. Congratulations to those protesting and to those for whom the protest is being held—I don't know about it," he said during the live interaction.

Apart from distancing himself from political discussions, Diljit also shared a major update on Punjab '95, a film that has remained stuck for years due to censorship issues. The actor expressed confidence that the film will be released very soon and claimed that its release would silence many critics.

The film has been one of the most anticipated Punjabi projects in recent years, with its prolonged delay drawing significant attention. Diljit's latest remarks have renewed expectations among fans eagerly awaiting its release.
