The Election Commission of India is on a two-day visit to Haryana to review preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections. On the first day, Chief Election Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar, along with Election Commissioners, Gyanesh Kumar and Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, met with representatives of national and state political parties
Following this, the Commission held a review meeting with Divisional Commissioners, Range IGs, District Election Officers, and Superintendents of Police to discuss election preparations in detail. Rajiv Kumar and the Election Commissioners met with Haryana's Chief Secretary, TVSN Prasad, Director General of Police, Shatrujeet Kapur and Administrative Secretaries.
Haryana CEO Pankaj Agarwal also briefed the Commission on poll preparations along with State Police Nodal Officer. Tomorrow the Commission will be meeting enforcement agencies.
