The State Election Commission has canceled the elections of 20 Gram Panchayats of Gidderbaha block. The State Election Commission has taken this decision due to irregularities. Due to which elections of 20 Panchayats of Sri Muktsar Sahib district have been cancelled. Now the elections of these Gram Panchayats will not be held on October 15. However, the new election date will soon be announced by the Election Commission.
