Punjab Power and PWD Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO today extended his heartfelt gratitude to the state Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh for choosing Manawala, a village in his assembly constituency Jandiala Guru, as the site for State Branch of National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The development comes a day after the Punjab Health and Family Welfare department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), New Delhi, to establish a state branch at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Manawala in the Amritsar district.
"I am thrilled that our government is prioritizing the health and well-being of our citizens," said Cabinet Minister
, while adding that the establishment of this health facility in Manawala will greatly benefit the local community, providing them with access to quality healthcare services.
The minister said that the MoU aims to introduce essential disease control expertise directly to the state of Punjab, aligning with the 'Sehat Kranti' initiative envisioned by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann.
