Gold and silver prices continued their upward trend on July 3, marking the fourth consecutive day of gains in the domestic bullion market.
According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold climbed ₹3,104 to ₹1,46,107 per 10 grams, compared to ₹1,43,003 per 10 grams on the previous trading day.
Silver also witnessed a sharp rise, with prices increasing ₹4,504 to ₹2,33,354 per kilogram, up from ₹2,28,850 per kg recorded on July 2.
Over the past four trading sessions, gold has become ₹4,686 more expensive, while silver has surged by ₹13,374 per kilogram. Earlier this week, on Monday, gold was trading at around ₹1.41 lakh per 10 grams, while silver was priced near ₹2.20 lakh per kilogram.
The sustained rally reflects continued strength in the bullion market, with both precious metals extending their gains for the fourth straight session.
