CM holds meeting with representatives of Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Haryana govt is taking steps towards formulating a comprehensive plan to link small entrepreneurs from the Scheduled Castes with major industries, aiming to promote the growth of micro and small enterprises (MSMEs). In this regard, CM Nayab Singh Saini held a meeting with representatives of the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) at his residence and discussed various initiatives.
Saini said that the Haryana govt is already running various incentive schemes to promote MSMEs. Now, new schemes are being devised to assist small entrepreneurs from the Scheduled Castes, so they can reach larger markets, improving their economic status.
The CM stated that the state govt will collaborate with the DICCI to develop new schemes, providing opportunities for small entrepreneurs from the Scheduled Castes to move forward. He also directed the concerned officers to study the initiatives run by DICCI and best practices adopted by other states as well.
The CM said that the govt will also provide assistance to young entrepreneurs in exporting their products abroad.
