Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday unveiled development projects worth more than ₹337 crore during a grand public event in Naraingarh, marking one of the state's biggest infrastructure pushes in the region. On the occasion of Doctors' Day, the Chief Minister also extended his greetings to doctors and healthcare workers for their service.

Addressing the gathering, Saini described the day as a historic moment for Haryana, saying the initiatives represent not just the inauguration of development works but the government's commitment to building a healthier and more prosperous state. He said the government is accelerating welfare and infrastructure projects during its third term.

The Chief Minister inaugurated seven healthcare projects worth ₹114 crore aimed at strengthening medical services across the region. He also dedicated 325 Amrit Sarovars, developed at a cost of ₹223 crore, to promote water conservation and environmental sustainability.

Among the key projects, Saini inaugurated a new 50-bed block at the Civil Hospital in Naraingarh, constructed at an estimated cost of ₹32 crore. With the addition of the new facility, the hospital's capacity has doubled to 100 beds, significantly improving healthcare services for local residents. A Public Health Unit was also inaugurated on the hospital premises.

Highlighting the government's healthcare initiatives, Saini recalled that Day Care Cancer Centres were launched in 17 districts on February 11, providing cancer patients with treatment closer to home and reducing the need to travel to larger cities.

The Chief Minister also announced ₹5 crore for the construction of a new community centre in Naraingarh. Additionally, he said modern digital libraries will be established in both Naraingarh and Shahzadpur, further strengthening educational and community infrastructure in the region.
