Directs Departments to Strengthen Coordination and Ensure Timely Fund Utilisation

Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday conducted a comprehensive high-level review meeting to assess the progress of centrally sponsored schemes being implemented across various departments in Haryana. The focus of the meeting remained on effective utilisation of funds, timely execution of projects, and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach citizens without delay.
During the review, the Chief Minister closely examined department-wise performance, ongoing projects, and pending works under schemes funded by the Central Government. Stressing the importance of result-oriented governance, he directed officials to accelerate the pace of implementation and ensure that sanctioned funds are utilised efficiently and within the stipulated timelines.
Highlighting the need for financial discipline, CM Saini emphasised that transparent and optimal use of central assistance is key to driving the state’s overall development. He instructed departments to submit Utilization Certificates (UCs) on time to avoid disruptions in the release of further funds from the Centre.
Taking note of schemes with slow progress, the Chief Minister directed concerned अधिकारियों to immediately address bottlenecks and prioritise pending work. He also underlined the importance of strong inter-departmental coordination and robust monitoring mechanisms to ensure smooth execution.
To improve coordination with the Central Government, CM Saini asked all departments to appoint dedicated nodal officers. These officers will maintain regular communication with central ministries, helping to fast-track approvals and fund disbursement.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability, the Chief Minister encouraged the use of technology-driven systems for real-time monitoring and tracking of scheme implementation. Senior from multiple departments were present during the meeting.
