The Congress party today 29th September appointed Bhupinder Singh Hooda as the Leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in Haryana and Rao Narender Singh as the new president of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC), replacing Udai Bhan. These appointments come nearly a year after the party’s loss in the assembly election.
The decision to appoint Hooda and Singh was approved by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. According to an official communication signed by Congress general secretary KC Venugopal, Kharge appreciated the contributions of outgoing PCC president Udai Bhan.
