Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya visited the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya in Delhi today. After observing the digitally curated information here, he was deeply impressed and mentioned that the museum (Sangrahalaya) allows one to explore the 75-year history of the country in just two to three hours. He emphasized that universities should ensure that their students visit this museum, as it contains valuable and enlightening information for them.
Sh. Dattatraya, after touring the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya in Delhi, interacted with media persons. He commended the commendable work done by various committees in the construction of the museum. The utilization of technology and digitization in the museum is remarkable.
The Governor mentioned that the museum digitally showcases historical events from the tenure of every Prime Minister, starting from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to the present Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. The museum features various galleries depicting the drafting of the constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's speech at that time, the establishment of Indian democracy, the spirit and preamble of the constitution, fundamental rights and directive principles outlined in it, the foundation of Indian democracy, the Election Commission of India, and a detailed exploration of all amendments, starting from the first amendment in 1951. The Sangrahalaya tells us the story of how our Prime Ministers navigated the nation through various challenges and ensured the all-round progress of the country.
