The report highlights a 52.94% decrease in SC/ST Act cases, a 14.50% reduction in rape cases, a 19.51% drop in dowry deaths, a 29.57% decrease in molestation cases, a 22.58% decline in dacoities, a 29.72% reduction in robberies, a 9.96% decrease in snatchings, and a 21.45% drop in extortion and blackmail cases. Furthermore, there have also been reductions in cases of murder, offenses under the POCSO Act, vehicle thefts, and kidnappings. This achievement reflects the positive results of Haryana Police's effective action plan.

DGP Shatrujeet Kapur stated that an effective action plan is being implemented to curb crime in Haryana. Eight teams of the Special Task Force (STF) have been formed to keep a strict vigil on criminal activities and break the nexus of criminals in the state. From January 1, 2024, to August 7, 2024, the STF successfully apprehended 121 most wanted criminals, 36 gangsters/gang members, and 264 criminals involved in serious offenses.
