State got first prize for exceptional work in tax reforms- Manohar Lal

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, who is also the Finance Minister of the state, informed the House on the last day of the ongoing winter session of the Assembly that Haryana State is in the category of big states in per capita GST collection of Rs 34186. It ranks first in the country.

The Chief Minister said that Haryana was recently awarded the first prize in New Delhi by Tax India Online for its exceptional work in tax reforms. The state's tax collection in October 2022 was Rs 19652 crore, which increased by 21 percent to Rs 23841 crore in October 2023.
