Haryanvi folk singer and renowned Ragni performer Pepsi Sharma passed away at the age of 38 after suffering sudden chest pain, family members said. He was admitted to a private hospital, where he died during treatment.

Born as Yashpal Sharma, he became widely known by his stage name Pepsi Sharma. A native of Patla village in Ghaziabad, he earned immense popularity through his stage performances across Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and the Delhi-NCR region.

Pepsi Sharma was a familiar face at Ragni competitions, especially those organized at gaushalas (cow shelters) across Haryana. Apart from his singing talent, he was admired for his humor, comic timing, and ability to entertain audiences during live performances.

He also shared the stage on numerous occasions with famous Haryanvi performer Sapna Choudhary. One of their most popular performances featured a "Nagin Dance" act, in which Sharma's energetic performance gained widespread attention. The video, released by a music company, garnered more than 60 million views online.

Pepsi Sharma is survived by his 10-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son. His untimely demise has left the Haryanvi entertainment industry in mourning, with fellow artists and fans expressing deep condolences.
