CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met with various delegations from the Dehra Assembly Constituency of Kangra district at his official residence, Oak Over, here today. During the meeting, the delegations apprised the CM of their demands and grievances. He appreciated their efforts to ensure victory of Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur in the assembly bye-elections from the constituency.
The CM assured the delegations that relevant measures would be taken to address their issues. He said that Dehra was set to become a model assembly constituency in the State in the matter of development. The state government is committed to providing all possible assistance to resolve the problems being faced by the residents and ensure systematic development in Dehra, he added.
Sukhu said that MLA's office would be opened in Dehra shortly, which will facilitate in solving the local issues of the people more efficiently.
MLA Kamlesh expressed her gratitude to the people of Dehra assembly segment for their support and ensuring her victory in the bye-elections. She said that she would visit Dehra from 26th July to discuss and plan the development model for Dehra.
