According to the information, batting first, India scored 176 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. While the South African team needed 177 runs to win, but the team was reduced to 169 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.
On the other hand, reactions are also coming from neighboring country Pakistan on this victory. Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar said that there could not have been a better way to win the World Cup. Shoaib said that this is the best way to win the World Cup. The way Rohit Sharma was sitting on his knees on the ground and there were tears in his eyes.
