IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, faced another disruption to its website and digital services on Friday, with several passengers reporting difficulties booking flights and accessing the airline’s mobile app.
When users attempted to open the flight booking section on IndiGo’s website, some were shown a “No Data Available” message. Several customers also reported problems with app login, web check-in, flight booking and payment confirmation.
The disruption marks the second time this week that IndiGo’s website and online services have experienced technical issues.
In a service advisory on its website, IndiGo said it was facing intermittent system issues that could affect some customers using its online services. The airline said its teams were working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
IndiGo advised passengers to try its digital channels again after some time.
Customers requiring immediate assistance with their travel were asked to contact the airline’s customer support helpline, while those travelling later were advised to retry the services after some time.
Passengers Report Booking, Check-in Problems
Several users took to IndiGo’s X account on Friday to complain about failed flight bookings, difficulties with web check-in and delays in receiving payment confirmations.
The latest disruption comes just two days after IndiGo acknowledged intermittent problems with its main reservation system.
On Wednesday, the airline had said that some customers might face difficulties using its online services due to issues with the reservation system. IndiGo also said it was working with its technology partner to resolve the problem, but did not provide detailed information about the cause of the disruption.
Repeated technical problems could cause further inconvenience to passengers who depend on IndiGo’s digital platforms for ticket bookings, check-ins and flight management.
