Amritpal Singh, who became MP after winning the Lok Sabha elections from Khadoor Sahib, has taken oath of office. Amritpal Singh was taken from Assam's Dibrugarh jail to Delhi under tight security, where he took oath in Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla's office. He was given four days' parole. On this occasion, a safe house was also built for Amritpal to meet his family. Here he was allowed to meet his father and uncle.
After this, he was again taken back to Assam's Dibrugarh jail at around 4 pm. It is worth noting that meeting his family in Delhi was allowed under the 10 conditions of parole and he was sworn in during this period.
