Minister Panwar inspects sites in Nuh and Dadri
Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, January 6 –
Haryana cabinet minister Krishan Lal Panwar stated that Congress leader Randeep Surjewala is falsely alleging illegal mining by referring to Rajasthan's territory as part of Haryana. The Minister personally visited Nuh and Dadri to inspect the sites and found no evidence of illegal mining. He accused Surjewala of making baseless political statements.
The Minister conducted a visit to Nuh yesterday (Sunday) and also examined the hill near Firozpur Jhirka, which Surjewala had referenced in his allegations. He clarified that just 10 feet from the site, the land falls under Rajasthan's khasra number 62. The Minister emphasized that the opposition is wrongly claiming it as Haryana's area for the purpose of making false accusations of illegal mining. He advised Surjewala to verify the facts before making such groundless allegations, cautioning against political statements made without proper investigation.
The Minister Sh. Krishna Lal Panwar also addressed the case of the SBPIPL mining company in Kaliyana village, Dadri district, where the mining officer had issued a notice on December 12, 2024. The company had failed to deposit approximately Rs. 30 crore owed to the government.
