Development works worth Rs 110 crore underway in Ladwa: CM

CM announces Rs 21 lakh each for development works in Kishanpura and Girdharpur villages

Chandigarh, June 25 - Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said he became an MLA and then the Chief Minister due to the people of Ladwa Assembly constituency. The residents of Ladwa are members of his family. He said he has given clear instructions to all officers to listen to the problems of the people of the constituency and resolve them immediately. In the last about 4 months, development works worth Rs 110 crore have been sarted in Ladwa.

The Chief Minister was talking to villagers at the community centre of village Kishanpura and at the gurdwara of Girdharpur village today.

The Chief Minister said one hospital will be built in each district with all modern facilities, so that the people of the state can get all types of treatment in government hospitals. These hospitals will be inaugurated on August 15. Each hospital will have an internal committee to manage patient referrals to ensure high-quality treatment in government institutions, he added.

The Chief Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to farmers, citing the successful procurement of crops at MSP and financial support under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana, which compensates for market price shortfalls. He further stated that the government is actively working to provide housing for the economically weaker sections and is operating in "mission mode" to transform Haryana across all sectors.

The Chief Minister, while announcing the demands put forth by the Sarpanch in village Kishanpura, said all the demands will be fulfilled. In addition, Rs 21 lakh was given separately for the development of the village. The problem of water drainage in the village is serious, which will be solved on a priority basis. He asked the Sarpanch of Girdharpur village to give the list of issues of the village in writing and also announced to give Rs 21 lakh for the development of the village.

The Chief Minister said any family that has any issue can give a written complaint. He said the people of the state gave him a lot of love and respect. It is because of that respect that the BJP government had come to power for the third time in the state. “Whenever I get time, I reach out to people of the constituency by organizing a programme in Ladwa. I have reached your village for the first time after voting. I thank all the people of the village for helping in forming the government,” he said.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said today 50 years of ‘Samvidhan Hatya Diwas’ have been completed. This is the day when Emergency was declared, which is the biggest atrocity committed after Independence. About 1 lakh people were forcibly sterilized. People were forced to leave their homes and live in fields. He said the coming young generation should know about such incidents. When the youth will know the history, they will not let that bad period come again, he added.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Neha Singh, Superintendent of Police Nitish Agarwal, President Dharamveer Mirzapur and other dignitaries were also present.
