A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan on Saturday morning, sending strong tremors across several areas and triggering panic among residents. People rushed out of their homes and buildings as the ground shook.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake measured 5.4 on the Richter scale. The epicentre was located at a depth of 35 kilometres (22 miles) beneath the Earth's surface.
