Punjab News Line, Chandigarh,

The Indian hockey team has made it to the semi-finals of the Paris Olympics. In the quarter-final match, the Indian team defeated Britain 4-2 in the penalty shootout. However, in the full-time match, both teams were tied with a score of 1-1. The Indian team scored 4 consecutive goals in the shootout, but Britain could score only two goals. This victory of the Indian team is considered very important because the team was playing with only 10 players. In the 60 minutes of play, Indian defender Amit Rohidas remained out of the match for 48 minutes. He was given a red card by the referee in the 12th minute. However, this decision of the referee came under controversy. Former Indian Olympian Jugraj Singh said that giving a yellow card for this foul was enough.
