People of Delhi are still forced to drink contaminated water in 10 years of AAP's rule
Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, January 27 –
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini took a dig at former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of failing to make proper arrangements for water distribution, which has forced Delhi residents to consume contaminated water. While criticizing Kejriwal for systematically diverting 28 drains into the Yamuna river, the CM claimed that the people of Delhi would teach him a lesson in the upcoming general elections.
The Chief Minister's remarks were in response to allegations made by Kejriwal during a press conference here today, where he accused Haryana of releasing toxic water into the Yamuna river. Saini further said that Kejriwal has a habit of making baseless allegations and then avoiding responsibility. This, according to the Chief Minister, reflects both Kejriwal's personal approach and the mindset of his party. The Chief Minister said that he has asked Kejriwal to send his Chief Secretary and officers to Haryana, specifically to Sonipat, from where Haryana supplies water to Delhi, to inspect the quality of the water being provided.
