Haryana Labour Minister Anil Vij said about 50 ESI dispensaries will be shifted after constructing permanent buildings. He was replying to a question during the Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.
Anil Vij informed that the ESI dispensary at Kundli is already being operated from a rented premises. The HSVP has allotted 1.23 acres of land in Sector-58, Kundli. The final decision for purchase of land and construction of dispensary would be taken by the Employees State Insurance Corporation, New Delhi.
He informed that ESIC, New Delhi has given in-principle approval for setting up of a new 150-bed ESI hospital at Sonipat. For this, the HSIIDC has offered 6.35 acres of land in Industrial Area Rai (Sonipat). The hospital will be constructed there after getting approval from ESIC, New Delhi.
The Labour Minister also informed that about 50 ESI dispensaries in the state are being run in rented buildings, which the government wants to construct permanently.
