1536 degrees were conferred to students and researchers

President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, today highlighted the pivotal role of educational institutions like J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology in addressing the challenges and leveraging the opportunities presented by the fourth industrial revolution.
She was addressing the 5th convocation of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA in Faridabad, Haryana. The convocation was presided over by Governor of Haryana and Chancellor of the University, Bandaru Dattatraya, and Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar was also present. The President conferred 13 PhD degrees and awarded 2 medals and certificates to the students in the presence of Governor, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya.
A total of 1536 students and researchers who completed their degrees in the year 2023 were conferred degrees, including 998 graduates, 525 postgraduates, and 13 PhDs. Among the recipients, there were 874 boys and 662 girls. Two meritorious girl students were awarded gold medals: Ishita Juneja received the Governor-Chancellor Gold Medal worth Rs. 75,000 as the overall B.Tech topper, and Kajal Sharma received the Chief Minister Gold Medal worth Rs. 65,000 as the overall B.Tech Girl topper.
