CHANDIGARH: Punjab governor and Chandigarh administrator Banwarilal Purohit has resigned from his position, citing personal reasons. Governer submitted his resignation letter to President Drupadi Murmu on Saturday, stating, 'Due to my personal reasons and certain other commitments, I tender my resignatin from the post of governer of Punjab and administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh.Please accept the same and oblige, 'Purohit wrote in his resignation letter.'
