Hands over appointment letters to supervisors

In a Raksha Bandhan (Rakhri) gift to the women of state, the CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday announced to create 3000 new posts of Anganwari workers and open new vistas of recruitment to the women.

Addressing the gathering during a state level function to mark the festival of Raksha Bandhan here today, the CM said that the state government has already started the process for this and very soon recruitment for these posts will be started. He said that this is a step forward towards empowering the women by opening new avenues of employment for them. Bhagwant Singh Mann further said that the state government is also actively and sympathetically considering the genuine demands of ASHA workers.

On the occasion, the Maan also handed over appointment letters to 14 youth. One of the newly selected supervisors, Navdeep Kaur, profusely thanked the CM for the transparent process and it is a dream come true for us. Navdeep said that not only she but her brother has also got the job during the current regime only. She also tied Rakhri on the wrist of CM and MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer.
