Rao Narbir lays foundation stone for new government school building in Budhera, Gurugram

Govt is giving priority to large-scale development works in the field of education

Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that the state government firmly believes that education is the foundation of a progressive and developed society. Keeping this in mind, and under the guidance of the Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the government is giving priority to large-scale development works in the field of education.

Rao Narbir Singh laid the foundation stone of the new building of Government School in village Budhera of Farrukh Nagar block, Gurugram on Saturday.

Addressing the students and villagers present at the event, Rao Narbir Singh said that under the government’s vision, modern facilities such as new school buildings, smart classrooms, computer labs, libraries, and playgrounds are being set up rapidly across villages.

He said that this new school building in Budhera will be equipped with all essential modern amenities. The building, to be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs. 1.79 crore, will include 15 rooms—10 classrooms, a principal’s office, three modern laboratories, and a multipurpose hall for co-curricular activities, he added.

Rao Narbir Singh also emphasised the importance of protecting the environment. He appealed to the public to make Gurugram a polythene-free district.He encouraged everyone to use cloth bags and reusable items instead of plastic. The minister also planted a sapling in the school premises and urged everyone to plant more trees and take care of them.
