ED has taken a major action against illegal mining in Ropar district of Punjab. According to the information, ED has raided about 13 places in Ropar. It is being told that illegal mining has been done on the land annexed to Ropar. It is also being told that the land on which the mining is taking place has been attached to the land belonging to Bhola, who is caught in a drug case.

 3 crore recovered :

According to the information received from the officials in this case, this land was seized by the ED in the notorious Bhola drug case. The Bhola drug case is in the critical stage of hearing before a special court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The case involves Naseebachand (mining mafia), Sriram stone crusher and others. So far, cash worth Rs 3 crore has been recovered during the search.
