On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond paid floral tributes at Dr. Ambedkar’s statue at the Fatehgarh Sahib District Administrative Complex. He also presided as the Chief Guest at a seminar organized jointly by the District Administration and Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib.
Addressing the gathering, Sond stated that the Punjab government led by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, is earnestly working to fulfill the dream envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar. For the first time in Punjab’s history, six Scheduled Caste (SC) ministers are part of the state cabinet. He also highlighted that reservation has been implemented in the Advocate General’s office for the first time, and the SC Post Matric Scholarship Scheme is being disbursed in a streamlined, transparent manner, ensuring maximum benefit to eligible students.
