Appreciates Punjab Government's efforts to uplift the Sufism in State

As part of the efforts initiated by the Punjab Government to revive the country's rich heritage of Sufi singing, the "Sufi Festival" is being run at the Government College, Malerkotla, in a very successful manner. On the second day today, famous Sufi and folk singer Kanwar Grewal demonstrated his art.
During his performance, when Kanwar Grewal performed his famous song "Mast Bna Denge Biba", it was as if the people of Malerkotla were drenched in Sufi colors. Apart from this, he also performed many of his popular songs. He highly appreciated the festival being organized by the Punjab government and invited the youth to connect with Sufi music.
Earlier, the second day of this four-day festival was inaugurated by Malerkotla MLA Jamil Ur Rahman.
Giving an open invitation to all the residents, art lovers and common people to enjoy the Sufi Festival, MLA Jamil Ur Rahman said that there was no ticket for the events organized on the occasion of the event. These events are being conducted daily from 05.00 pm. The district administration has also made separate arrangements for women to sit.
