Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan praised the performances of the poets

The ongoing four-day Sufi festival at the local government college reached its peak when various poets in "Sufiana Mushaira" made the audience clap with their poetry. During the function today, the Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Kultar Singh Sandhwan, attended as the chief guest and praised the performances of the poets.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandhwan said that the flame lit by the Punjab government to revive Sufi music in the state will not be allowed to go out. Punjabis will be proud of their Rangla Punjab. He appealed to the people to cooperate with the Punjab government. On this occasion, he also announced giving 50 thousand per poem to Dr. Rubina Shabnam, Meena Mehrok, Shahnaz Bharti, and Zafar Ahmed Zafar from his discretionary account. He invited the poets to come to Faridkot, the land of Baba Farid.
Meanwhile, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal and Dr. Muhammad Jameel presented research papers on Sufiism in "Sufiana Mushaira".
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Pallavi, who was present on the occasion, said that Master Salim and Sardar Ali will show their talents and Parvez Jhinjar, Abid Ali, Arham Iqbal, and Mohammad Aness will also entertain the crowd with their skills on the closing day of the event. On the final day, Cabinet Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Investment Promotion, Hospitality Department Punjab Anmol Gagan Mann will attend as the chief guest. He invited as many people as possible to participate in this event.
Today MLA Mahal Kalan Mr. Kulwant Singh Pandori, Malerkotla MLA Dr. Jamil ur Rahman, and AIG Punjab Mr. Gorav Tura also attended as special guests
