On the recommendations of the Punjab Govt, the Governor of Punjab announced the names of the PP officers/officials, to be awarded the CM’s Rakshak Padak award and CM’s Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty on the occasion of Independence Day-2024.
Sub-inspector SHO City Phagwara Amandeep Kumar, Phagwara ASI Jasbir Singh and Constable Ranjit Singh at Police Station City Phagwara have been nominated for Chief Minister’s Rakshak Padak award.
Similarly, 5 PPS officers including commandant 3rd Commando Battalion Jagwinder Singh, DCP Ludhiana Jaskiranjit Singh Teja, AIG Intelligence Swarandeep Singh, AIG Elections Cell Vikas Sabharwal and DSP VB Hoshiarpur Munish Kumar are among 18 officers/officials, who have been selected for the CM’s Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty. The remaining officials include Insp Sukhwinder Singh, Insp Paramjit Singh, Insp Amarjeet Singh, Insp Navjot Singh Sidhu, Insp Palwinder Singh, Insp Jatinder Singh, SI Jagandeep Singh, SI Bhola Nath, ASI Jagdish Singh, ASI Harpreet Kaur, ASI Harjit Singh, ASI Ratan Lal and HC Sukhjit Singh
DGP Gaurav Yadav congratulated the awardees and thanked the CM Mann for recognizing the services of the Punjab Police officers/officials.
