CM Nayab Singh Saini participated in the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ organised in Karnal on August 13, 2024. A large number of people joined the yatra, reciting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” moved through different chowks of the city. The Yatra started from Ramleela Sabha and concluded at Sanatan Dharma Temple on Kunjpura Road.
Before the yatra commenced, CM Saini addressed the gathering at the Ramleela Sabha hall. He called on the people to pledge to hoist the tricolour at their homes and also he also paid tribute to the many revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence.
The CM appealed to the citizens to participate in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign and take a pledge to plant and nurture trees at their homes, nearby parks or along roadsides. He extended his best wishes for the forthcoming Independence Day and encouraged everyone to participate in the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ with full enthusiasm and spirit.
