Haryana Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister J.P. Dalal on the occasion of Good Governance Day highlighted the importance of transparent delivery of benefits to the underprivileged, which the state government is providing to the people. The government is providing benefits to the people on the basis of the Parivar Pehchan Patra.
Dalal said this at a district-level event organised in Bhiwani on the occasion of Good Governance Day. He stated that the transactions are being delivered to the accounts of the beneficiaries without any middleman interruption at their comfort level. He said that the government is realising the vision of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the form of Good Governance Day. He said that via online mode the eligible beneficiaries can get the benefits of the scheme while sitting at home. Additionally the government has provided a facility like 'CM Window' to solve the grievances of the public so that they do not have to face any challenges to reach out to the government.
Dalal said that the government has made many policies for the well-being of farmers. Loans are being given to poor people on subsidy for animal husbandry and under the Pashu Kisan Credit Card Yojana on the lines of Kisan Credit Card, loans up to Rs.1 lakh 60 thousand are being given without guarantee. 85 percent of subsidy is being given in micro irrigation so that less water is used in irrigation. Under various schemes for crop diversification, farmers are being given Rs 7,000 per acre. Additionally new schemes have been implemented to encourage modern farming practices in agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture and fish farming.
