Haryana Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij expressed profound grief today over the demise of senior journalist Gyanendra Bharatriya. The 57-year-old senior journalist Gyanendra Bharatriya, who resided in Delhi, passed away at Escort Hospital in New Delhi yesterday.
In a condolence message issued here today, Sh. Anil Vij said that the death of Gyanendra Bharatriya is a significant loss for the journalism world because he was like a star in the field of journalism. Sh. Vij stated that, as a journalist, Gyanendra Bharatriya was not only their professional colleague but also a personal friend, and his departure feels like losing a family member in the journalistic community.
Sh. Vij offered condolences to the grieving family on this occasion and prayed for the departed soul's peace. Various representatives from media-related organizations also expressed deep sorrow at his demise.
It is noteworthy that Gyanendra Bharatriya, a senior journalist who served in electronic and print media, breathed his last at Escort Hospital in New Delhi on Saturday and Sunday midnight. He had been unwell for the past few days. The news of his demise has sent shockwaves through the journalism community. He originally hailed from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
It may be noted that Gyanendra Bharatriya had worked as the News Head of E-2-Z News Channel, News Head of MH-1 News Channel, Advisor at Prasar Bharati, and was currently serving as the Executive Editor at Panchajanya. In addition, he had contributed his services to leading newspapers like Dainik Jagran and Dainik Bhaskar in Madhya Pradesh. Moreover, he had worked with the national news channel India TV. Due to his nature and working style, Gyanendra Bharatriya had maintained cordial relationships with several central ministers.
